OUR STORY

Western Maryland Music Center was opened in 2012 in historic Downtown Cumberland Maryland. Owned and operated by Mr. Larry Jackson and Mr. Brian Bowers, two lifelong music educators and band directors in the Community.  Larry and Brian set out to bring a full service music store with musicians of all types in mind.  The store is located at the heart of the historic district at 115 Baltimore street on "The bricks".  
 

In 2019, West Virginia Music Center was opened in the Suncrest area of Morgantown, WV. The owners are proud graduates of WVU in music eduction and have many ties to the Morgantown community. The store is conveniently located at 1716A Mileground Rd. close to everything!

From beginning band students to professional working musicians, WWMC and WVMC was founded on the idea that every lesson, concert, gig, rehearsal, and event are all equally important to the musician and our local arts community.  The stores are dedicated to taking care of all of our local students and performers needs.
